This hard working plumber ignored his CTS sxs for years. Examination showed significant APB weakness bilaterally. On the left, the APB was atrophic. A good way to detect subtle APB atrophy is to observe both hands held vertically, palm to palm, comparing the curvature of the two muscle bellies, as shown in the photo on the right.
